Henley Rugby Club

has in excess of 40 Coaches throughout the club that give up their valuable time with the Minis and Juniors every Sunday morning. All coaches at Henley Rugby Club are RFU qualified at the appropriate level. Coaches working with young players

Requirements

The club values the effort and commitment from all its coaches and will support and finance anyone wishing to get qualified via the RFU Coaching Scheme. (Please see Courses).

The first stage for anyone wishing to coaches is to get CRB checked.

For the U7s to U8s, coaches should be qualified to coach Tag Rugby. Head coaches should be Level 1 qualified.

Coaches working with young players

For U9s to Colts, coaches should be qualified to a Level 1 standard. Head coaches should be Level 2 qualified.

All Youth coaches must advise the Mini and Junior Chairman (Martin Leach) to confirm appropriate and available budget for RFU courses.
